Pumpkin Hummus

This creamy, dreamy Pumpkin Hummus Recipe gets its festive autumn flare from pumpkin puree & warming spices. Finished with a drizzle of Nepra’s Golden Hemp Oil for a nutty and omega-rich dip that will be the star of your next social gathering. You can serve it with sliced veggies, pita crackers, or jewel-toned root veggie chips to make it feel extra special for the season.

INGREDIENTS

1 ¾ cup of Garbanzo Beans drained

1 (15oz) can Pumpkin Puree

½ cup Tahini Paste

⅓ cup Nepra’s Extra Virgin Hemp Oil

5oz Lemon Juice

¼ teaspoon Cinnamon

¼ teaspoon Allspice

¼ teaspoon ground Black Pepper

⅛ teaspoon ground Clove

¼ teaspoon Cumin

¼ teaspoon Nutmeg

Salt to taste

 

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Drain the can of Garbanzo beans and keep the liquid, set aside.
  2. Add the Garbanzo beans, lemon juice, pumpkin, tahini paste, and spices to a blender and puree until smooth.
  3. Add half the oil to the blender and salt to taste, add Garbanzo bean liquid as needed to thin. 
  4. Transfer Hummus into a serving bowl; drizzle remaining Nepra’s Extra Virgin Hemp Oil on top.
  5. Serve with pita, chips, sliced veggies or whatever you want!
